This morning, outside of the Jefferson Center, labor leaders, community organizations, and immigrant justice advocates released “The Working Peoples’ Vision for Philadelphia”, the product of an almost 10-month-long organizing campaign that asked Philadelphia’s workers to envision a city that valued Workers Over Billionaires. Across the country and here in our own backyard, workers are bearing the weight of a system rigged against them and in favor of the billionaire class.
