Exhibiting a chaotic papier-mache spectacle whilst excreting big bo$$y beats that make you want to ₛₕₐₖₑ ₜₕₐₜ ₜₕᵢₙg til the sun comes up, the Pzyk Gurls are the antidote to strait-laced straight-faced DJ culture. A few months ago, we hosted our first ambient night at warehouse opposite Unit7. The rough warehouse was reimagined as a warm, immersive dreamland, opening with an otherworldly gong bath performed by @thatshems preparing us for what was to unfold. @formantvalue took the space into his hands, letting his sound flow through the room and pulling us further away from the outside world. @avsluta_ beautiful voice grounded us in warmth and beauty. @klaus_tanum delivered everything we had imagined after two years of trying to bring him to play for us. And last but not least, F-on @apomeda switching vinyl like an organic machine, carried the energy forward. All of this was accompanied by a beautiful light show by @beau___voyage We still can’t quite believe what happened, as someone said, we broke the system that night, and it honestly feels that way. Big love to everyone who supported us on Friday: the artists, the thinkers, the music lovers, and @unit7___ for all the support.
