As an immigrant turned citizen, this was deeply personal. Starting my own little business as a independent hairstylist was something I had never done before & came with fear, uncertainty, and a lot of unknowns. But through it all my mom’s strength and love grounded me. She’s been my biggest inspiration, and her sacrifices are a huge part of why I’m even able to chase my dreams today.
