Under The Wire is hosting a special Charity Night in aid of Alzheimer’s Society for Dementia Action Week.
Join us for a night of live music, community, raffle prizes and fundraising at The Porter Cottage on Wednesday 20 May at 8 PM.
We’ll have an amazing raffle on the night (you can buy tickets from today at The Porter Cottage) with prizes donated by some brilliant local businesses, including:

All money raised will go in aid of Alzheimer’s Society @alzheimerssoc ,helping support people affected by dementia and the vital work being done around awareness, care and research.

On the 25th of May we’re bringing something really special to Sheffield Food Festival, @sheffoodfest
The Under The Wire Showcase Band is made up of musicians who all met through our Wednesday nights at The Porter Cottage. Different singers, drummers, guitarists and musicians will be jumping up throughout the set, coming together for one big rehearsed live show.
Some of the musicians have loads of stage experience, and for some it’ll be their first time playing a festival stage. That is exactly what Under The Wire is all about.

We’re really honoured to be putting together the lineup for the Busking Stage at Sheffield Food Festival on Saturday 23rd May.
From 10AM till 7PM, we’ll have 8 amazing acts performing throughout the day — a mix of artists from the Under The Wire community and some brilliant local talent from around Sheffield.
What started as a Wednesday night at The Porter Cottage has grown into something really special, and it means a lot to be able to bring that energy into one of the city’s biggest festivals.
Massive thanks to Sheffield Food Festival for trusting us with the stage.
