Join UTU and SAGE November 20th at 6:30 pm outside of Sikes Hall for the annual transgender day of rememberance vigil. We will have student reflections, reading of names and lighting of (fake) candles in honor of those who have lost their lives to anti transgender violence this year. All are welcome and invited to be a part of community this night.
We had a splendid time crafting community at our meeting this evening. Lots of Halloween creations including our pumpkin patch were made.

Under the Umbrella had a fun trip to Columbia Pride this weekend. We were able to have lunch outside the state house, watch drag queens, kings and things perform, hang out and visit multiple vendors.
It was such a fun weekend!

This month in UTU
This month we have three more Monday meetings: speed friending, game night and Cookies & connections resource night.
We also have two other engagement opportunities, we'll be tabling at CUSG's suicide prevention and awareness tabling event sharing information about LGBTQ+ specific awareness points. The LGBTQ+ alumni council is also hosting a happy hour. This is a great opportunity to meet some other generations of LGBTQ+ Clemson students and connect.
We hope to see you all at a meeting/engagement opportunity this month!
