I was hoping to travel with this oldschool guy for the long time! Bucharest - Chisinau “friendship” overnight train nr. 402 🇷🇴🇲🇩. Probably the last train in the EU territory, where you can still experience, how people traveled during the Soviet era. 450 kilometres will take 13 hours and 38 minutes of your time including the border operations and wheel conversion caused by the different tracks between and Moldova. Operated by the Moldovan railways daily! Can’t wait to be back here with my guided tour for @navratil.travel in September 2026.

Some shots from my week in Belarus solo focused on Soviet atmosphere and architecture 🇧🇾. I was very well treated by the people with kindness and warm hospitality level, which I am not so used to in Slavic countries (I am also from one). The country preserves its history and most of the time you have the “time machine” feeling like you are 50 years back in time. Would you also visit Belarus ?
