As many of you know, I've spent most of my adult life chasing the magic of theatre as a director. The past few years have slowed down, and that’s ok. I'm enjoying the gentle wander down different paths, and I know I'll find my way back to theatre making for sure.
Photography has been a big personal pleasure of mine during this time (as you can see from my feed). I’ve been given some wonderful opportunities to photograph live performance over the past few months, and have deeply enjoyed the artform so much that I want to offer my work formally to the performing arts community.
As liveness is mercurial, and performance is personal, I aim to offer images that best bear witness to these moments as authentically and respectfully as I can. I use a mix of digital equipment and vintage manual lenses which, to my eye and practice, gently captures the fleeting dramaturgies of a moment in time.
I am mostly keen to photograph live performance of theatre, music and art, but also have experience in shooting documentary style rehearsal and workshops too.
I offer a linear album of images from an event, with a select few given early if quick promotion is needed. As I am relatively new to this space and am not a full-time photographer, I am offering lower rates to keep my services affordable for independent artists, emerging or intermediate.

Spent a few days exploring the beautiful Cathedral Ranges. It was my first time camping solo, and mountain hiking, but it was highly rewarding and a truly transcendent experience.
I swear that Kookaburra followed me on every track, helping me laugh my fears away 🕊🐣🕊

Audiences were taken on a journey in and around the Union Theatre, meeting unexpected characters and creatures. Full of laughs, beautiful images, and silly moments, this show was really something special.
