“Life hits you fast” It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my dear friend, Adisun, after his battle with stage 4 bladder cancer. As the cancer spread to his skull and spine, he endured unimaginable pain—pain so severe that it would have broken the spirit of most. But Adisun was never shaken. His mind remained sharp, his spirit unbreakable, and his heart full of the same love and strength he always carried. Adisun was more than a friend—he was a light in so many lives, always bringing warmth, wisdom, and kindness wherever he went. His resilience was nothing short of extraordinary. Even in his hardest moments, he never wavered. I had the privilege of being with Adisun everyday during his final moments , and In his final moments, the love he had so freely given was returned to him tenfold. Family,friends, admirers, and those whose lives he had touched traveled from every corner to be by his side, a testament to the impact he had on so many. He left knowing he was cherished, knowing his light would not dim with his departure. Adisun’s legacy is one of strength, love, and unwavering faith. His last project, @voidhouston , stands as a testament to his brilliance, his work ethic, and his relentless pursuit of something greater than himself. It is proof that even in passing, his dreams continue to breathe, inspiring those who remain. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the countless lives he impacted and the dreams he brought to life. Rest easy, my Brother. You will never be forgotten. - Love Messiah

Writing this post today with a very heavy, but positive heart. I’ve officially been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. It’s moved into my lungs, liver, spine, and shin bone. I have surgeries tomorrow followed by chemo/immunotherapy at the same time. It sounds a bit bleak, but if you know me there isn’t a doubt in my mind that I’ll beat this. It’s just another chapter in my life that I have to overcome in order to continue my greatness. Please keep me in your thoughts, prayers, and feel free to reach to me any time I’d love to hear from y’all. I’ve been having extreme migraines due to my neck/back being so stiff and in so much pain so bear with me as I’ve been using my phone for 5 minutes / day max recently. Chances are if you’ve been around me the last few months you’ve heard me coughing. Being the kind of person I am I’ve kept it a secret for a while, but my support system will no longer let me so I’m here today to tell you that I’ve been diagnosed with lung cancer. As you all know I successfully defeated bladder cancer, but it metastasized into my lungs. My 30th birthday was bittersweet as I celebrated being blessed by a 30th, but it also marking the beginning of my next battle. My Oncologist says my treatment will be a combo of chemo / immunotherapy and that I’ll be traveling to Dallas 3x/month to receive it. My current treatment plan will stretch across 2 years and encompass 72 sessions of chemo. The cancer’s in both lungs in a bunch of spots so I’m unable to undergo surgery it’s just a battle of being as healthy as I can with the treatment to reduce the tumor sizes to none. I’m extremely excited to start this journey - which like the last one I’ll surely be victorious in. They’ve made a gofundme for me as they say the people around me would love to help (link in my bio). I can’t have insurance due to preexisting conditions so this undoubtedly run me an absolute bag as it’s already been adding up.
