Our next release is a compilation celebrating 30 years of one of Indonesia’s most iconic street punk bands: The Sabotage from Jakarta.
All their recordings are brought together on a double vinyl, with the support of several partner labels @under_attack_records , @staypunkmusic , @pilsrecords , @whiskeypunkrecords and featuring exclusive new artwork by @lip.kaos .
I met Onie, Ghebois, and the Sabotage crew during our show with Bad Nasty at Pogozilla in Jakarta, while we were on our Southeast Asia tour.
I loved their set, they are incredible people, and I’m very proud to present such a special release.
In some countries, being punk goes far beyond fashion, it’s a real commitment, often lived under much more repressive conditions than we experience here.
This is the reality, up the punx !
