Your attendance is requested for the opening reception of 𝘢 𝘴𝘤𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥, new work by Kayle Karbowski. Join us at the gallery tomorrow, Saturday, August 23, from 6:00-9:00 PM to experience, celebrate, and discover a virtual realm that @other_dust actualized. This participatory installation includes new work from the artist whose practice involves sculpture, herbalism, divination, and technology. Taking cues from the more than human world, 𝘢 𝘴𝘤𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 invites viewers to indulge in sensory shifts as a way to take pleasure in the almost-unfamiliar “Arising carefully and intentionally to meet the sky. Released through eons of soft and hard rubbing against one another without frustration but just necessity. I was told everything I know comes from the ground whether I want it to or not. A dream or a thought unfolds behind my eyes whether I ask for it or not.
