I’m bummed because the journal I used during this set got left in the washer. Felt like I understood something deeply about this acting thing through that journal entry.
I thought that if I could really identify what was happening inside, name it, and do some kinda reframing about it, that I would create the behavior necessary to get the “point” of the scene across.
But it seems like it’s one thing to think or feel a way after the director calls “action” & then a whole other thing of how it translates or reads when viewed on screen.
I guess kind of like the idea of communication intention vs actuality
All this might even just be unnecessarily deep thinking that results in my scenes just not hitting. Idk man💀
