Three years ago, Lotte got me a pie from a small business in East London. Man, it was so good that I went to meet the guys and a few weeks after that I became a partner.
When you see their passion and the pride in their work, getting involved was the easiest decision. Will (Founder of @willys_pies ) was furloughed during the pandemic but he turned that situation into a small business with big ambitions.
So, when we were thinking about my first product for Uncle Wrighty, we didn’t have to think too hard to be honest. It had to be a pie, handmade in London with the best quality ingredients and it had to be the flavours of a Sunday roast because who doesn’t love a roast with your friends and family.
