Thank you @baldfacelodge for always being a home away from home - and for fresh lines in April. They remedy the mind and the soul. And thank you to @_sealteam69 for being an extended family for almost a decade already. You’re a random bunch. But variety really is the spice of life.

Not my first Sabbath show. Not my last Sabbath show. But seeing the Prince of Darkness and the boys from Birmingham play their only ever show in the Middle East made it one of my all-time favorite Sabbath shows. There was something uniquely surreal about hearing those words and that voice come out of that man in the heart of the Arab world. I don’t make a habit of taking my phone out at shows. But thank Satan I felt compelled that night ; because these ones are treasures to me now.
It’s been tough being half a world way from my friends - family and community this past week. Sending love and luck back to my city and everyone in it dealing with the fires. All the respect - affection and appreciation for you Los Angeles.
They say that : “Vision without execution is hallucination.” And while I’ve hallucinated plenty - seeing the first new @arborsnowboarding line that I’ve worked on - next to the last @vanssnow line that I worked on - and our first ever line for @deathgripgloveco all landing in stores at the same time this fall … I actually do kinda feel like I’m tripping.
Thanks to everyone who has been part of any and all of it. I’m grateful and humbled to be - and have been - able to contribute to all of these brands and projects.

I’ve been very fortunate in my time in the snowboarding community to meet - become friends - shred - and build amazing products with pioneers - legends and personal hero’s. But bringing a Danny Fucking Kass boot back to @vans sits right up there among the most special. It was a pleasure - an honor - and something that I will always treasure. It also stands alone as the only product I’ve worked on that was largely designed on a napkin in a bar in Downtown Los Angeles.
