Preserving Heritage. Shaping Futures.
I recently had the opportunity to participate in a transformative workshop at the National Museum, Lagos, focused on strengthening Nigeria’s museum and heritage sector.
Bringing together young and mid-career professionals from across the country, the workshop deepened our understanding of museum practices, exhibition design, community engagement, and digital innovation, all vital tools for preserving and promoting our rich cultural heritage.
As I step further into the museum industry, I’m inspired to contribute to safeguarding Nigeria’s stories and shaping the future of heritage work.

Today, I attended the Fela Politics: Movement of the People event!
Panellists included Mr. Emeka Mba, CEO of Afia TV, Ex Governor Kayode Fayemi, Ambassador Yusuf Mamman, with Isabela Adedeji hosting. It was a powerful discussion on Fela's legacy and social justice

Yesterday, the CFM Team visited the Red Line, a solo exhibition by Chuma Anagbado, which opened on 6 November 2025 at the historic Freedom Park, Lagos.
Curated by Theo Lawson and Ugonna Ibekwe, and presented by Lizaad, the exhibition explores themes of survival, resilience, and the regenerative power of creativity through visual languages inspired by Uli and Nsibidi, indigenous systems of aesthetics and communication.
The exhibition presents the latest body of work by Chuma Anagbado, the artist behind the Mmụọ Exhibition on Ìgbò masquerading, spirituality, performance, and visual resonance which opened in 2021 and remains on view at the Centre for Memories.
In this, his fourth solo exhibition, Chuma continues to investigate themes of identity, spirituality, and cultural expression through contemporary forms.
The Red Line Arts Exhibition runs until 30 November 2025. If you are in Lagos, we encourage you to visit and experience this compelling body of work.

@unclepablo042 turned what should’ve been a three-star hike into a wanderlust —got us lost, brought a few tears, and somehow made it one for the books. We laughed, we hiked, we bonded. Thank you all for coming and making it such a great experience. Can’t wait for the next one.
