NEC (necrotizing enterocolitis) is a devastating intestinal disease that primarily affects premature and medically fragile infants. For many families, awareness comes through heartbreak. That’s why events like the 2025 Titus Strong pickleball tournament matter so much, bringing people together to raise awareness, support research, and honor babies and families impacted by NEC.
We’re grateful for partners like the @titusstrongfoundation and everyone helping push this work forward.

Brooklyn, our music therapist at UNC Children’s, spends her days using music to bring comfort, calm, and connection to patients and families during some of their hardest moments.
Whether it’s helping a child express feelings or creating a peaceful pause in a difficult day, her work is all about meeting patients where they are and making space for creativity.
