I was looking at these two photos and realized how connected they are, even though one was taken inside a prison and the other outside a juvenile detention center. I took these images about six months apart. The first photo to me is a reflection of gratitude and resilience. The men pictured are incarcerated (had to blur their faces), yet still pursuing bachelor’s degrees in psychology. The second image captures advocates, attorneys, and legislators fighting for young people in Baltimore’s juvenile detention system to have access to the resources, support, and opportunities that make that same kind of resilience possible. Both images speak to what people are capable of, even within systems not built for them to thrive. Image 1: Beyond the Sentence, 2025, 16x20 Image 2: Something’s Happening Up Ahead, 2025, 20x24

A proud moment seeing my work on display throughout Pier Six Pavilion in Baltimore. Eight of my pieces now live inside the newly renovated venue, including my five-piece series Symphony and Smoke alongside a three-piece series capturing scenes from Baltimore’s harbor. The work is featured throughout the pavilion’s catering spaces, dressing rooms, and artist green rooms, allowing Baltimore creativity to exist behind the scenes of one of the city’s most iconic music venues. Thank you to @finngroup and @knittingfactory for recognizing that visual art belongs within entertainment spaces and music venues, helping create environments that feel connected to the culture and creativity of the city itself. And a huge thank you to Quid Nunc Art Gallery, Laurielle Noel, and Ainsley Burrows for curating this project and allowing my work to be part of this new chapter for Pier Six. #Pier6 #baltimoreart #artist

I love when I get random texts after events of pics of me working! Just grateful people capture the little in-between moments. 🥹

It’s not always the big moment. Sometimes it’s where it lands. Doorsteps. Hands. Buttons. Leaflets tucked into pockets. This is what the campaign sees.

Another fun time at Art of Caring for @casabaltimore So grateful! Both of my pieces sold, and I really appreciate everyone who showed love and placed bids. CASA of Baltimore does such important work making sure young people in foster care have consistency and support, even through all the transitions. Thankful that my contributions and many others directly uplift an incredible cause. #photography #artofcaring #artist

WIP Thoughts: Going through my photography archives has unlocked a chamber in my brain. Between finding my style and understanding my purpose for creating, I’m learning how to bring my passions together, youth, education, social justice, and art, now reimagined through a new identity in a completely different dimension. I’m going to call this one “Young People in Command”.
