📣 Partnership Announcement 📣
We are thrilled to announce that HYK is now the official hydration partner for the 30th Annual Umstead 100 Mile Endurance Run, taking place on April 5-6, 2025, at William B. Umstead State Park in Raleigh, NC!
At HYK, we are dedicated to supporting ultra runners by providing an all-in-one stick pack that delivers energy, focus, hydration, and recovery, empowering athletes to go the extra mile.
Our commitment to clean, fully disclosed ingredients aligns seamlessly with the values of the Umstead 100 community.
We are honored to join forces with the Umstead 100, a race renowned for its challenging yet accessible course, designed to help runners transition from 50-mile to 100-mile distances.
As the official hydration partner, HYK will be available at aid stations throughout the race, ensuring participants stay energized and hydrated as they tackle the rolling hills of Umstead Park. We are excited to support each runner’s journey toward the finish line.
Join us in celebrating this partnership and the incredible athletes who will push their limits at the Umstead 100!

Sad news-our great friend Joe Lugiano passed away in his sleep last night. No further details available at this time. RIP Joe, you will be dearly missed.
Happy Monday everyone! As many of you have heard, the NC Department of Transportation recently began maintenance work on several of the bridges in the park. Yes, they are under the jurisdication of DOT as these were once real roads. The Reedy Creek bridge work has been completed and work has begun on the 2 Turkey Creek bridges parrallel to Ebenezer Church Road. The deterioration of the larger bridge (where Aid Station 2 has traditionally been) was greater than expected and a complete replacement is necessary. The park has informed us that this will not happen prior to the Umstead 100. Not to fret, we have several possible course revisions that we are considering and will work with the park to determine a route that will give our runners and volunteers a great race experience. We will publish the new route as soon as we have it finalized and we appreciate your patience as we work through this. Just keep training and be ready for an amazing race weekend!
New for 2024! Grow your collection! All 50 mile finishers and repeat 100 milers will receive commemorative doubloon. 3 different coins for the appropriate finish. Past finishers will be able to purchase coins matching their past finishes.
