Now this is purely research based but you can do more in-depth research to see what they offer and the likes. Here’s some more information; ☎️ Government agencies Legal Aid Council of Nigeria (LACON): Provides free legal advice and representation to indigent Nigerians for both civil and criminal cases. National Human Rights Commission (NHRC): A government agency that investigates human rights abuse claims and seeks redress for victims. ☎️ Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) Legal Defence and Assistance Project (LEDAP): A pro-bono legal aid organization that assists indigent clients and works on issues of human rights and access to justice. International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA): Offers legal assistance and advocacy, with a focus on women’s and children’s rights. Human Rights Law Service (HURILAWS): Provides legal aid and advocates for human rights in Nigeria. Women’s Rights Advancement and Protection Alternative (WRAPA): Provides legal aid and counseling services to women, families, and communities. Civil Liberties Organization (CLO): Works to promote and protect human rights in Nigeria and provides legal assistance to those who cannot afford it. Constitutional Rights Project (CRP): Works to promote and protect constitutional rights. ☎️University law clinics Network of University Legal Aid Institutions (NULAI) Nigeria: Promotes clinical legal education and has established multiple university-based law clinics across the country that provide pro bono services.
