Hey. Hi. I am the reader it's me.

My name is Sandra.
I am in my 40's.
Though I have always read about a dozen books a year this helped me rediscover my love for reading a few years ago when recovering from surgery in 2022.
I am a wife & mom.
I love to read fiction, romance, fantasy.
This year I have read more books than most of my adulthood.
I just moved to BC, Canada
.
all my current reads and thoughts because who doesn't love sharing about books?

Read if you love small town romance ... the characters are paranormals. IMO, Casper meets pumpkin spice cafe vibes.
Poison Daughter is hands down AMAZING! Hands down must read @sheilareadsandwrites
I listened to the Alchemist and it was a great spring break road trip book for my 12yo daughter and I to listen to together.
The Serpent & the Siren- NOG series book 3. I will always recommend this series to anyone who listens. @piper_cj is god tier for me.
Hello Stranger was such a good one. It was intriguing & I loved the love in it. Another great one by @katherinecenter
With book 2 of Shield of Sparrows coming out next week I did a reread/ listen and it did not disappoint. This is a book I will re read often. It was my favorite of last year & the official first of our book club. @devneyperry
December I thought I would be pushing way past my goals- but alas I allowed myself to enjoy my vacation in Paris and the holidays with my little family.
I swear I thought I read more than this this month. However I did a recap of Kingfisher to prep for Brimstone release.
And with having 2 additional "kids" living with us, the weekends are full of being at the rink in the evenings and prepping lot and lots of meals. (Ps... having 18yo hockey players live with you kinda kills the joy of hockey romance, don't do it if you love the boy aquarium) I have become a hockey mom
I had so much going on in September with my family that I seriously only read the last week of the month.
I have been working my way slowly through Eldritch all of September and we are already a week into October 🤦🏻♀️
I had a stacked August with doing weddings every weekend and my mother in law in town for a week. I felt like I didn't read anything... so 5 is not too bad for taking 2 weeks off.
June was a really good book month.
Ali Hazelwood remains an auto read!
@juliesotowrites an absolute fav
@k.m.moronova your books kill me in the best way
@danielleljensen 👑 so glad I met you in May at release party
@authorrunyx auto reader here!
@lauriegilmore_author the only small town series you'll catch me reading
A First for me...
A reread.
An audiobook.
Ps I also did an author signing @danielleljensen and met @listenwithbritt
A pretty great experience and a super fun 2 days with new friends @jocelyntreleaven
This was the first 2 weeks of the month. Then a family death called for me to take 10 days off from reading to spend time with my American family and be really present. I did get some bestie @texicasw and bookstore time, which made me feel a little normal.
