We are extremely proud of our Chair of Dance @deeannahiett and Assistant Professor of Ballet @tempetto in receiving two phenomenal awards this year 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
We had a blast with our event for Take Your Child To Work Day here in the dance studios of the Conservatory. From coloring pages to dress up, to taking photos with ballerinas, watching an exclusive performance by our dance majors and then being able to learn a dance with them, we were all smiles. @umkcinkansascity
Our very own @kamnsaunders was in the studio today 🫶🏻 It was a privilege to have UMKC Dance alum Kam Saunders return to the Conservatory for a meaningful dialogue with our students, facilitated by Dance Division Chair DeeAnna Hiett.
As this year’s Conservatory Alumni Award honoree, Kam reflected on his professional path with honesty and depth, leaving our students both motivated and affirmed as they continue shaping their own artistic voices. 👏🏼🫶🏻👏🏼
