Religion has been one of the most powerful forces shaping society for decades.
Some argue that it is a weapon of control. Others describe it as a tool of oppression. Yet many believe it is a sacred pathway to spirituality, self-reflection, and alignment with a higher power.
So what, truly, is religion?
Is it structure or freedom? Control or consciousness? Division or devotion?
At its core, religion is a system of beliefs, practices, and values centered around faith in the sacred or divine. But beyond definition, it becomes what individuals and institutions make of it - a guide, a shield, a bridge, or, at times, a boundary.
What religion is depends on who holds it, how it is practiced, and the intent behind it.
