Last experiment to show: these rings were hand finished by the Hatton Workshop Ltd, to a mirror shine. According to them, these AM titanium pieces were some of the hardest they had ever worked on.

This ring represents the progression from traditional manufacturing practices to the advanced digital methods that we can control today.
The structure at the top is unique to your ring, in the same way that custom bone implants match an individual's anatomy, allowing them new options for recovery.

The structure at the top of the ring is a randomly generated lattice structure, inspired by the structures being used in cutting-edge additively manufactured bone implants.
These 'stochastic' structures allow us to control the mechanical properties of metal components, so that we can create titanium implants that bend and stretch like bone.

These rings were printed in a titanium alloy at Alloyed, and hand finished by myself.
