Ever been curious how the "sausage" gets made? These are the contract proofs I got from @friesensbooks today. The text proof is not printed on the final paper, but is intended to show you margins, image clarity, and the full contents. It's important to review carefully, as you'll see I found they were printing from an old copy that has the wrong chapter header in one section! That must be corrected before the full print run. The dust jacket proof shows accurate colour printing on the knockout cover, with an overlay for where the foil will get placed. The finished version will be in metallic red, not black.
