FYI Getting a car winched-out in northern Norway costs $650CAD in case you ever consider pulling over a little off the asphalt to let oncoming traffic pass you on a narrow road 🥰
Thanks @paradis_felix for being an excellent travel partner and was lovely to see @lineellemannsta in Copenhagen!
Mandatory chill time ™️
Thanks Dorian for inviting me to sail wooden Schooner MAGNOLIA in the West Indies! I also shared a daily looksmaxxing practice with @sig____rid but our jawlines didn’t improve.
To top it off, woke up on deck in Martinique facing @maybesailing BLUE CLIPPER, a 3-masted schooner I sailed on in 2022. Hi friends!!
(Dry) summer of side quests. Notably Sable Island!!! also Cape Breton Island, Cai sister reunion, starring in a commercial, daily ocean dips and many laughs.
Hoping for lots of rain for you, NS ☔️
Catch you later, Lunenburg!
I loved calling you home and playing on the water. Now pivoting into serious nerd mode @mcgillu 🔴
Here are two recently launched schooners in Lunenburg Harbour: @dustindempsey ‘s THOLEPIN shot from @herringchokerspicnic ‘s GRATATUDE. Weeeee!

The “Graveyard of the Atlantic” revealed its gentle and serene side to us. Endless stretches of sand, groups of curious grey seals, and the majestic Sable Island horses thriving in their windswept home.

Eau de vie 🌊 mid-year review of the ways I exist on the ocean. For pleasure, first and foremost, then community, work and craft, transportation and extraction, and mostly, awe and appreciation.
A smart friend recently told me that the negative ions released by the turbulence of waves may increase oxygen to the body and boost mood. Nice
Asia 2025 🌏
Yoga, architecture, food, cultural identity, parent-child dynamics.
A brief, truth-seeking homecoming to my Asian roots. To meet my estranged Dad; to rescue my lonely grandmother. The former who is held captive by the brainwashing and culture of the state, and struggles to find meaning abroad. The latter who has experienced so much cognitive dissonance under the state’s rule, and yearns for the civil liberties of the West.
As a child of diaspora, it was also a chance to force myself to slow down and observe my own cultural escapism, and the desperate grasping of what it means to be of dual identity.
We’re all learning to survive, and to form identity. It’s nice to know there are people willing to lend a helping hand along the way, and sometimes just being held wherever you are in that journey is enough.
