Delighted to announce my first ever recurring radio show airs tonight on @eistradio 9-10pm. 🥰
‘Ultrapollen presents Hayfever Season’ is an exploration through some of my favourite electronic music, from ambient atmospheres/textures, to forward-pushing experimental club production, all the way to no nonsense bass bangers. I’ll also be including some of my favourite Irish producers in each episode 💪
I am gasssed to have an opportunity to attempt a different style of mixing & selection than what I’m used to playing in clubs - Blending more varied genres/BPMs etc together has challenged me a lot creatively which I am loving so far. So I am very grateful to the @eistradio crew for giving me the space to do that! 🕊️
Tune in tonight & every 4 weeks after 💋

Introducing Ultrapollen 🙌
@ultrapollen is a Cork-based DJ and producer carving out a distinctive space within Ireland’s club scene. His genre-blurring sets move fluidly through bass, garage, 2-step, UK funky, dubstep, dembow and speedy 4x4 rhythms, anchored by low-end weight and percussion-driven momentum.
He has supported leading contemporary figures including Dr Dubplate (EC2A), Dylan Fogarty, Tim Reaper, and Shampain, performing at countless venues across Ireland and the UK. As a producer, his work has garnered international DJ support and airplay on Rinse FM, HÖR Berlin, Subtle FM and Dublin Digital Radio, and in clubs across the world from RSO Berlin to Xe54 Melbourne.
Artist Spotlight 03: @ultrapollen
Ultrapollen is an emerging force in the Irish bass music scene. Rooted in minimalism and low-end pressure, his DJing and production balance weight and precision with a playful edge. Drawing from 2-step, dubstep, UK bass and driving 4x4 rhythms, his sets move fluidly between sounds old and new, staying grounded in contemporary, forward-thinking dance music.
Tonight in Spailpín Fanách.

been loving recording these every month - my most recent [episode 3] I am especially pleased with - the selection sums up a lot of the dance music i’ve been listening to lately & may I say the blends are some of my best yet 😮💨
episode 2 on the other hand i honestly wasn’t as satisfied with mixing-wise, but i am learning to just send stuff out to the world regardless & move on 🌍
anyways - they’re up there on soundcloud via 🔗 in bio if ya wanna listen back
big 💙 to @eistradio for having me on 💚

TISSUE CULTURE 001
📍 Connolly’s of Leap
🗓️ June 28
TISSUE CULTURE is kicking off — and we’re buzzing to be starting in one of the most iconic spots in the country - Connolly’s of Leap.
TISSUE CULTURE was born in Cork to create space — for community, for culture, for sounds that don’t always fit the mould.
For our first party we’re teaming up with Reasons To Dance, a Dublin based DIY label, a space for colourful, optimistic dance music. Set up by Dåser and Fionn, they cast a wide net over the contemporary club music world. The focus is less on singular genres, and more looks to mould together a universe of bright, playful and wiggly synthesis. The natural and synthetic world seem to overlap both in the labels music and artwork.
After a run of successful releases over the past 2 years, and their most recent vibrant compilation SUNROOM002, they’re showing no signs of slowing down.
On the line up we have RTD founders Dåser and Fionn themselves, who will be joined on the night by Ultrapollen.
Hailing from Cork, Ireland, Tissue Culture co-founder Ultrapollen is an emerging producer & DJ in the bass music scene. His productions and performances are fused with dark minimal elements, blending genres of 2step garage, UK bass, dubstep, and 4X4. Ultrapollen DJ sets navigate the balance between
darkness and playfulness, paying tribute to classic club sounds whilst maintaining a sharp focus on contemporary dance music.
