🤍☁️Birthdays have always felt strange. Time has never made much sense to me as it is something that I exist within and the experience of it prevents me from believing that I can also witness it unfurling.
I’m told I’m a year older, yet internally I feel that I am the same consciousness looking through different seasons of my life.
It’s only when I look backward that time suddenly becomes terrifyingly real.
Years collapse into moments, versions of myself disappear quietly into memories, everyone and everything changes.
Maybe that’s why it took me so long to post about my birthday this year. Because some part of me is still trying to understand how time can move so quickly while I somehow feel completely still within it. 🤍☁️
