With that in mind, we felt it essential to start giving these vital partners in audio a shout-out. So, we’re launching a mini Dealer Spotlight series, initially focusing on our UK dealers. There was only one way to begin — and that’s with @ripcaster.uk , our first UK dealer and one of Ultrafide’s earliest and most trusted supporters. Further to this, on Friday 20th – 21st March, we’ll be with Jesse and the team at Glasgow Audio for an extra-special event alongside our good friends at @kudosaudio . Over two days, listeners will have the opportunity to experience the very best of Ultrafide and Kudos, across a range of systems throughout Glasgow Audio’s stunning showroom. In the main demo room, experience our flagship UltraSigma combo (featuring three U500DC power amplifiers and a U4PRE pre-amp) actively driving the mighty Kudos Titan 808 loudspeakers with their Sigao Drive external crossover. In the second room, we are showcasing our newly launched ENSO (INT-125) integrated amplifier paired with the Kudos Titan 505s—a system that received a phenomenal reception during its debut at The Bristol Hi-Fi Show. Finally, out on the main shop floor, our SP500 power amplifier and U4PRE will be powering the Titan 606 loudspeakers. It feels like a lifetime ago now, but thinking back to @ise_show in February, we wanted to shine a spotlight on the “PRO-FI” system we showcased on our booth. Built around outstanding compact loudspeakers from @funktiononeofficial and powered by Ultrafide Audio electronics, this system proved that professional pedigree and home listening can sit perfectly side-by-side. The setup featured: * 2 x F61 Compact loudspeakers * 1 x SB12 Subwoofer (passive) * 1 x U4PRE Analogue Preamplifier * 1 x U500DC Power amp * 1 x SP500 Power amp * 1 x XTA DP648 Multi-Format, audiophile grade DSP Configured in a refined 2.1 system. We bridged a U500DC for the sub, delivering 1kW into 8 ohms with only phase inversion and a bandpass filter provided by our DP648 processor, while an SP500 powered the F61.2s fully passive — full range, no processing. On source duties was the amazing Silent Angel SL1P streaming from Tidal/Qobuz, and also playing files from an external USB drive. The result? Outstanding performance, with feedback that truly spoke for itself. A real demonstration of our “Pro Sound, Homebound” philosophy — a system that’s equally at home delivering detailed, high-definition musical listening, but also ramping things up when it’s time for a party! A huge thanks to Funktion-One for producing loudspeakers that are powerful, transparent, and above all, beautifully musical - requiring absolutely no corrective EQ - exactly as it should be! 🔊💡
