Presenting two of my favourite films from the Sprite ‘AI vs Real’ campaign featuring @sharvari . I still remember driving back from a stand-up comedy show when I got the call for this project. The humour didn’t stop there. If anything, it only got better when the scripts were narrated. I remember just chuckling to myself, thinking ‘this is genius!’ Glad I got the opportunity to direct these brilliantly written films by the talented team at Studio X.
To be honest, I hadn’t been a fan of how AI was being used in advertising—often as a cost-cutting device, with the quality becoming highly subjective. But when I saw how Sprite was approaching AI in context of the idea, I knew this was something I wanted to be a part of.
This one’s been a long time coming, and I’m grateful to everyone who helped bring it to life.

New film featuring Keiron Pollard, Shakib Al Hasan & Nicholas Pooran.
Having always been an enthusiast of building CG worlds, this one really excited me.
Executing this project — both on shoot and in post — came with its share of challenges. Professional filmmaking always requires you to get “creative” in more ways than one. Two major constraints were the players’ schedules (since this was during tournament time) and the limited space we had to bring this vision to life.
Huge thanks to my collaborators at Sportscast.asia and Ulookah Studios for having my back throughout. Grateful to Hijaz, Gemshi, Jerry, Simran and Subahana for ensuring such a smooth production experience.
Chief on the job Ashwin for running the set like a boss. A massive part of translating the vision to reality was DOP Sunil sir, along with gaffer Dev and our steadicam operator, who helped us capture some great visuals within an extremely tight timeline.
Special mention of Shashank and his team at Ulookah Studios, who always meet me at my vision and never make me compromise.
