For the second year in a row UL open bring home gold. Our boys finshed off Saturday by winning 2 out of 3 of their group games. After a very windy start on Sunday, the boys did well in the power pools putting them in the Final for a rematch against UCD, where they brought home the goods 💪💪

UL Women come second at IVs 🥈
On the last Sunday of March, on a day that felt like the four seasons hit us in one day….
UL started the day off by winning all their group games. Our Women then beat TCD in the semis to bring us into the final against UCD for the second year in a row. Unfortunately, It wasn’t to be for our girls but we are super proud of them.
Congrats @ucd_ultimate on the threepeat 👏👏 well deserved

UL come 4th at Mixed Outdoor IVs
We kicked things off bright and early on Saturday with a win over TCD 2. Next up was TUD, where we fell short of the win. We wrapped up the day on a high with a win against RCSI 🕺
The team then headed to the hotel for a good nights sleep and a bit of strategising with sugar packets for our quarter final against UG.
Sunday started strong with a universe point win over UG, which sent us into the semi-finals against TUD. While we didn’t win the semi, Jess’s notebook was the real winner 💪💪
We moved on to the 3/4 against DCU, where we just fell short of a medal placement.
Big thanks to @tudublinultimate for hosting a brilliant tournament, and congrats on the win.
Over 10 years ago, it was the week of Cork Open like any other, players were getting their last trainings in and their costumes ready.
The theme was Famous Figures, some PELT team members, spearheaded by Andrew Meade, decided they didn’t want to dress up this year (long before the several tournament-run of dressing as Aladdins).
What better way to be lazy than spend an entire day shooting a music video & 40+ hours of editing! The boys got to dress in regular clothes and attend the party as themselves, the characters in the brand new parody of the “See You Again” music video.
It is truly a timeless piece of art, edited by our dear Geordi Stundon. It’s bittersweet to look back on now, what a fun and silly time, our memory of him is etched in the recording. He taught himself to edit videos that week, and he did a cracking job.
To honour his memory, the current UL Ninjas committee will be recreating “See You Again” again and asking you lovely people to donate to our fundraiser for Jigsaw Youth Mental Health 🧡

After a hectic few weeks of frisbee and attempting college, it’s about time for a Ninjas update…
First stop: @thesiegeoflimerick
The weekend kicked off on Friday night in Hurlers where a few Ninjas bravely shaved their heads for charity 💪
On Saturday both UL Women and UL Open both went 2/3 in their groups 🥷
With frisbee wrapped for the day, it was home for essential naps before the main event… the Siege party.
UL did not disappoint with their costumes and after a long night of questionable dancing it was home time for literally a quick nap before an early start Sunday morning 💙
With many sore heads on Sunday morning, UL Women powered through their final group game to secure a spot in the semi, while UL Open headed into crossovers for the day. After a loss to Flame in the semis, UL Women beat UCD in the 3/4 , bringing home bronze 🥉🥉🥉
Shaved heads, sore bodies, blue beds and medals brought home……a successful weekend some might say

The Limerick Summer League is back on actions, kicking off next Thursday on the 9th!
Games will run from 6pm to 8pm every Thursday with the final week held on Tuesday the 28th!
