Thailand has set my pace slow, but glad to have reached Bangkok after 2300kms cycling and some generally more chilled holi-sunny-day mode in Thailand passing Khao Yai Nationalpark and cycling down to the coast.
Glad that @tsssapol and me could meet for a stroll around Bangkok Design Week and agreed on working on some recordings together.

Already 700km through southern Laos from the vietnamese Border down to the Mekong over Savannakhet to Pakse into the Bolaven Mountains.
Laos is wild with a lot of space and so layed back, incredible. Lao People are warm and lovely as Teddybears 🧸🧸
Also, lao dusty bumpy roads fucked my back wheel completely, good that i found finally some temporary replacement in pakse to do the bolaven mountain loop and drown into some dramatic gorges and waterpools. It is coffee harvest at the moment in bolaven and some world-class quality brews wait around every corner. 🍉💧🐃☕☕🌴🌴

Portland, Maine is a busy international port full of tankers, barges, ferries and massive cruise ships. The environmental impact cannot be overlooked, especially in the case of the cruise ships. The damage to Northern Right Whale population by commercial fishing and direct strikes by ships has left their population on the edge of extinction. While these recordings are not overtly political, they have been inspired by the damage to ocean eco systems.

Well, the myth of the multiversal birds, that I called "paramechanical birds" in the same way as in the same sense of Descartes’ myth, where birds, as vehicles (machines) of animas and consecrators of absolute divinity, show the path to paradise through the sound in secret codes, giving up time. Paradise that they give to cats directly in their conversations, cats that are guardians of perceptive humans in the 5th dimension, and that work for the evolution of species, and which today they propose the restoration of vibratory order on this record.

🐒Takahiro Mukai "Slightly Jarring"
Osaka-based synth- and electronica wizard Takahiro Mukai presents another run on his ongoing record array with a selection of analog- heated, raw sound-sculpture approaches.
There is not much said about Mukai's musical pathways over the decades but with more than 60 releases he has grown an interesting documentary catalogue of recordings with which he officially started around 1993. Since then, he has published most of his material with two dozens of DIY-Casette Labels including Oreille Gardée, Paralaxe Editions, Cruel Nature Records or Barreuh Records.
Edition of 15 limited copies.

Nine varying sound works with different approaches and from different perspectives.
Call & response creates dynamic interactions in which both sides inspire and reinforce each other.
The call sets a motif, the response varies, reflects or contrasts - a creative flow of impulses is created.
"Call and Response Patterns" was based originally on an Open Call in may 2025.
