On May 14th, we partnered with the City of Greensboro to host an engaging UrbanPlan Lightning Round, bringing together City Council Members, Road to 10,000 Task Force leaders, partners, and community members.
Participants stepped into real-world roles to navigate the complexities of development, balancing affordability, density, and financial feasibility—while building a shared understanding of Greensboro’s housing challenges.
Special thanks to instructor and ULI Charlotte Chair Rachel Krenz, along with our incredible UrbanPlan volunteers — Jeff Cernuto, Sheldon Clark, Lee Cochran, Paola Navarrete, and Fabiola Yurcisin — for making this experience possible.
This session sets the stage for the upcoming Technical Assistance Panel (TAP) in September, supported by the ULI Terwilliger Center Housing Grant.
