Answer: NONE!
All of our syrups are made in house from scratch. Our vanilla syrup is made from -- vanilla! Our caramel syrup is made from -- homemade caramel!
And our new spring special, the 💚pistachio cardamom latte 💚 is literally made from pistachios and cardamom that we grind in house.
There's a lot that we make from scratch that you probably didn't know. Like...
Our lemons 🍋 are squeezed by hand (yup, we get a case of lemons and a giant lemon squeezer and there's a team member back there that's squeezing them all)
Our chai is brewed in house from @mem_tea chai 🫖
Our pastries are all baked fresh every morning in our kitchen 🍪
Want to know how we make something else? Let us know and we might even make you a video about it 😉
Shout it to GM Jonny for the video!

We did it team!
We hit our goal of 218 signatures for HR 965, the discharge petition to extend TPS for our Haitian neighbors.
I want to thank Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley for leading this effort and Councilor Ruthzee Louijeune for the leadership and support in mobilizing the community. Also grateful for organizations like the Immigrant Family Service Institute and the Institute for Justice and Democracy in Haiti (shout out to Brian and Ceclia)for their partnership and commitment.
Most of all, thank you to everyone who showed up. Those who made calls, came out to in person phone banks at Ula or supported virtually, this does not happen without you.
This was a true community effort that led to congressional bipartisan support for this discharge.
When the community shows up on a national issue, we can make real impact.
As we say in Haiti, L’union fait la force. Unity makes strenght!
Our next TPS phone bank happens Thursday March 26 from 3-6 at Ula! Come join an amazing community gathering of neighbors helping neighbors. Just come by with a laptop and your phone, or email [email protected] with questions.
There's also a zoom link for Friday if you'd rather do remotely! But we will have snacks at ours so come join us in person instead ❤️❤️
Shots from last week's International Women's Day party where @katpop72 took us through an art making workshop where we could sculpt colorful accessories out of paper! Thanks Katya for the wonderful photos (and art)!

It's true, our Earl Grey lavender scone has a cult following and it only pops up in the spring!
Pair it with a London Fog for a full on Earl Grey lovers experience, or try our new pistachio cardamom latte to embrace these last couple weeks before spring makes her come back!
Thanks Bob for being willing to be our IG model today ❤️
Thanks so much to @safiya.music@katpop72@stampofsunshine for contributing to an amazing International Women's Day party!
Sorry to the one woman who was mad that we didn't have wine yet...still waiting for the state to issue the actual license 😅
Good news. Bad news. Call to action.
Good news: Last week, U.S Court of Appeals for the D.C circuit has denied the federal administration’s request to end Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for 350,000 Haitians in the United States. A huge relief for our Haitian neighbors, friends, and coworkers.
Bad news: The administration will now seek to appeal to the U.S Supreme Court, the same court that allowed this administration to strip TPS protections from other nationals, including those from Venezuela.
The fight isn’t over. Call to Action!
📞 Call your members of Congress and urge them to support H.R. 965.
We have 172 signatures on the discharge petition, but we need 218 to bring this to a vote to extend TPS protections for Haitians.
📍 Join us Thursday at Ula Café from 3–6 PM for a phone bank to call our elected officials together.
Shout out to the Institute for Justice and Democracy in Haiti, the office of Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, Councilor Ruthzee Louijeune, IFSI, and so many others fighting for our community.
Let’s keep pushing. Get after it.
