UAC’s Vera and Maxim host their Master Class where they teach the students how to pickle vegetables. Pickling is quite important for them as certain vegetables are simply unavailable during the winter. By pickling, they are able to save these rations for over the winter. Yesterday, UAC, alongside the support of numerous partnering organizations, gathered more than 200 children in Odessa, Ukraine, for the celebration of Peace One Day ✌️. Each year, the International Day of Peace is observed globally. The General Assembly has declared this as the day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples.

The 43rd annual Baltimore Maryland Ukraine Festival was held on September 8th and 9th. Universal Aid for Children took part in this festival for the first time. UAC would like to thank you for your care and concern about the Ukrainian children, as well as for your donations. Every dollar counts and will be used for positive change. This event is especially important to us because Baltimore and Odessa are sister cities, both promoting peace through mutual respect, understanding and cooperation. We are grateful to Saint Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church for organizing this event, as well as proving the opportunity to share what we do with numerous individuals during the festival.
