ā ļøSteal & Save my transition hack.
Day 1-30 (Month 1)
šGetting Started with Figma and Daily UI Challenges;
In the first month of my transition, I dived headfirst into the world of UI.
I dedicated myself to mastering Figma,
I committed to the Daily UI Challenge for 30 days, designing a new UI each day.
š¾This consistent practice helped me understand the fundamentals of visual design and how mobile apps should look.
ā ļøBy building in public and sharing my work across various platforms, I received valuable feedback.
Day 31-60 (Month 2) šDeepening My Design Skills
In the second month, I joined design communities for support and resources.
I started exploring and recreating various designs, using Pinterest as a source of inspiration.
I also began to familiarize myself with UX principles, which helped me refine my understanding of user-centered design.
ā ļøSharing my progress publicly, I received valuable feedback that contributed to building a more polished and professional designs.
Day 61-90 (Month 3)
šExpanding UX Knowledge and Initiating Case Studies;
In the third month, Learnt how to use features like auto layout (watched tons of YouTube videos š) and how create basic components for prototyping, animation, hover states etc
I also delved deeper into UX principles, learning about design processes, user personas, and empathy.
I began to understand the importance of identifying and solving problems, which led me to undertake my first case study.
ā ļøThroughout this time, I continued to build my online presence by sharing my progress and insights.
This blend of deepening knowledge, public engagement, and practical exploration resulted in my first design gig a few weeks later.

Building my first app before the end of 2026
2 years after designing my medication reminder app, Iām finally bringing it to life.
Iāll be sharing my process and obstacles, Though Iām Still deciding between SwiftUI or React Native

Iāve been wanting to try gesture-based vibe coding for a while, but my previous laptop couldnāt really handle it.
I finally got a MacBook Pro M3, and this was the first thing I built with it
I vibe coded a flower garden that reacts to hand gestures and butterflies appear when you pinch, when I wave my hands, the flowers comes up,
Iāve got a lot more experimental projects like this coming soon, and I canāt wait to share them.

A quick tutorial on how I created the gingham-style journal covers for the vibe-coded web app I shared last week š¤
I used inspiration from Pinterest, refined my ideas with ChatGPT, and brought it to life with Claude. It took a little bit of prompt iteration, but I eventually got exactly the look I wanted.
Let me know if youāll be trying this out āØ

I built a full content planner with just one prompt and zero code using @verdent__ai
Iāve been using this to plan my content for some weeks now and it has been helpful.
Verdant isnāt your regular vibe coding tool, this asks you about the project, what youre building, gives you a full breakdown including the Architecture of the project
Let me know if youāll be checking this out š¤

Just wanted to share projects Iāll be exploring this month, Iāll use using @claudeai for this.
Which one will you like to explore??

Iāve always wanted to vibe-code a digital journal app with a scrapbook feel. It took a lot of prompting, refining, and iteration, but Iām really glad I was able to bring the idea to life.
I used Claude code and Netlify to visualize it and interact with it as I built.
I wanted to create a place where I can always store memories, photos, little moments worth keeeeeping
Would love to know what you think in the comments

The struggle of going out with a toddler is real. I thought I would get a few things done, but I ended up playing ABC instead. At this point, I will just finish everything back at my workspace.
I checked out @lyocafe and they have upgraded their space. It looks so good.
Also, I am fully in my brown girl era. I am currently obsessed with the colour brown I had to input an OOTD. Wishing you all a beautiful week. š¤

I tested Claude Design, Designers are not cooked.
The accessibility alone tells me AI still has a long way to go ;white space, contrast, the details that make a design feel right.
Claude canāt see those the way you can, I have lots of projects I want to explore. Itās impressive for getting ideas out fast, But it still needs a designer in its corner.

I used āngrokā for a while and it frustrated me so much. Then I came across Netlify. So easy and straight to the point.
Did you know about Netlify or is this your first time hearing about it?
