I was lucky enough to attend a screening tonight of @everyoneislyingfilm , followed by a live Q&A with @mrbenmckenzie at the Landmark Opera Plaza. The documentary is thoughtful, funny, and well worth seeing. Go! (I'm sure happy I did!)

I went to McKinney, Texas, for a few days to visit my good friend and hang out with her seven dogs and one very sweet kitty. My friend got out her Silhouette to make a couple of Braccialetti Rossi tee shirts with me. I have to be honest, she did most of the work!

A fun evening out with friends for dinner and a movie. The Castro Theatre was packed for one of the last events before a long renovation. All of Us Strangers is a moving film that will stay with me for a while. It was great to see @adam.r.ward and friends in the lobby!
The bookshop at The Great Dickens Christmas Fair also has cups and saucers and vintage prints. I wanted them all!

A visit to North Beach for me must include Tony's Pizza Napoletana. This time I watched the wood-fired oven pizza being made and baked. The oven is so hot, the pizzas cook in less than a minute! I had my usual calzone, but I was eyeing the Sicilian pizza at a table nearby. It looked amazing! The nice folks there offered me a slice, but my calzone filled me up, and I didn't even have room for bread pudding after.
The last photo shows the intersection of Stockton and Union, with Tony's on the far right. The brick circle indicates a cistern below. San Francisco has 170 cisterns or underwater tanks for fire safety.
