It’s the people that make the place.
This saying, while cliché, rings true for many members of the UGA community, including Fatima Aboubakar and Cayla Gabriele, two soon-to-be UGA grads. The pair met during their freshman year through a scholarship program and have been best friends ever since.
Though Fatima and Cayla each accomplished a great deal during their time at UGA, they always knew they had one another in their corner. Throughout their four years, they learned from and leaned on each other, continually motivating one another to reach their goals.
