INTERPRET 2026, last Friday, April 24.
A night where students and alumni came together through creativity and connection.
The UFV Alumni Association proudly supported the festival, and engaged attendees through the Alumni Wine Label Contest, featuring artwork by alumni artists. Voting took place during the festival and closed that same day.

16 awards can change what a student is able to do.
Ali Ghafoor, a UFV nursing student, received 16 financial awards during his studies, including the Endowment Leadership Award supported by the UFV Alumni Association.
That support allowed him to focus on his education, research, and mentorship work.

The Workplace Training in Attitudes, Skills, and Knowledge (TASK) program is an eight-month pre-employment program for adult students living with disabilities. It provides an opportunity to explore employment pathways, develop self-management skills, and prepare for work in a safe and supportive classroom environment.
On April 16, students were celebrated for their achievements at UFVâs CEP campus. Thank you to the UFV Alumni Association for including TASK Workplace Achievement Day as part of their generous giving during this milestone anniversary year. This support is one of many meaningful contributions made in celebration of the UFV Alumni Associationâs 25th anniversary.
