I spent the day at the historic Kano tannery, a place where centuries-old craftsmanship meets raw passion. From raw hides to hand-dyed leather, to experiencing the process in its rawest form.
Iâve crafted genuine leather bags @uelleofficial for over 6 years using locally sourced leather, being in this tannery, experiencing the process of its creation, makes me even prouder to carry this legacy forward.
Did you know Nigeria exports leather to more than 20 countries, including Spain, Italy, China, and the U.S. , yet most people donât realise that the âluxury leatherâ they buy abroad may have started right here at home.
