EXODUS - unreleased project, 2024. I’m not interested in performative diversity. I’m not here to check boxes. I want images where every body can simply be without the need to explain itself.

KINETIC - reverse engineering the physics of human movement. KINETIC dissects the energy systems of dance floors, mapping how bodies convert sound waves into kinetic force, how collective rhythm creates electromagnetic fields of shared experience. These observations stem from personal research and visual experimentation, not established scientific fact. Each frame captures what I interpret as data: oscillation frequencies between rest and motion, the transfer of momentum through crowds, the precise calculations dancers appear to make in milliseconds to navigate space and avoid collision. The work documents four primary operating modes I’ve identified: energy conservation (stillness), controlled discharge (turbulence), sustained flow (movement), and system reboot (inertia). Dance becomes my personal study in human engineering. Motion blur reveals what I see as velocity vectors. The color temperature shifts I observe, from cool blues in suspended moments to warm oranges in explosive motion, suggest different energy frequencies being emitted. Shadow patterns indicate energy distribution. My color grading follows what appears to be the thermal signature of movement: warmer tones correlate with higher kinetic output, cooler palettes with meditative states. These aren’t just bodies moving, they’re optimizing performance in real time, processing audio input and converting it to physical output. KINETIC treats the dance floor as a laboratory for understanding human optimization through both movement and color frequency. Where instinct meets precision, where chaos organizes itself into patterns we call rhythm. This remains a personal interpretation, not an absolute truth.

EXODUS III - PARA BELLUM They thought the Silence was a shelter. It was just a fuse. The sky has always been burned. Not in myth. Not in scripture. In facts. Over the Nile. Over the Tigris. Over first that had no name yet. Over seas crossed by people, only to reach the other side. Every time, someone said it was the end. Every time, someone disagreed. Not a hero. Not a prophet. Not a nation. A person. Alone in the dark. Deciding that stopping wasn’t an option. Some ran. Some fell and rise without knowing why. Some held someone tight That warmth became the only geography left. They did not survived for themselves They survived for you. You are not the witness to this story. You are not the observer. You are not even the survivor. You are what they were carrying through every fire, so you would never have to know their name. The crossing was real. The falling was real. The hand reaching for another hand in the middle of the impact, was real. And so are you. Liminal III — Brazil You don’t control this. You adapt. Water hits. Bodies collide. Everything moves. No performance. Only reaction.

BELOVED PATRICIA Patricia is not well. Haunted by a world she no longer understands, she withdraws from the noise of men, from the violence of bodies, from the weight of judgment. Drawn by an unnamed call, she travels to a distant blue city where silence replaces answers. There, among narrow streets and shifting light, Patricia searches for a language she cannot yet speak, a way to sing to the gods, as she once wished. But the city listens differently. And little by little, its keeping her.

LIMINAL ACT II - They are not fleeing. They are crossing. This series exists in the suspended moment between two states : before the rupture, after the threshold. A space where the body moves before the mind understands. Figures repeat, fracture, dissolve into dust and light. Movement is not urgency. It is necessity. Each step answers something that is never shown. Liminal II is the instant of leaving without yet knowing what one is becoming. The landscape is unstable. Time stretches. The silhouettes are neither alone neither together. This is not a spectacular departure. It is a silent transformation. Some thresholds are crossed without turning back.

“Beloved Patricia” — a short film forthcoming. Morocco, November 2025. Some stories don’t start with a script, they start with a place. @jacobparramena

EXODUS II - RISE OF THE EMBERBORNE  This chapter explores a world shaped by the two primal forces that first moved humanity: love and fear. It reveals the fragile line where creation and survival meet. The series follows figures crossing a desert of dust and fire, suspended between the impulse to approach and the instinct to flee. Every gesture holds the tension of these origins—the warmth that draws us forward, and the tremor that keeps us alive. Through this duality, the Emberborne emerge as symbols of our earliest selves, beings forged in the glow of what ignites us and the shadow of what threatens us. Each image becomes a fragment of a myth still unfolding. Trails of light carve the sky, footsteps scatter the earth, and bodies navigate the invisible frontier between surrender and ascent. The desert transforms into a stage where humanity reveals itself in its most elemental form: vulnerable, driven, luminous. Rise of the Emberborne does not seek to define a narrative. It invites reflection, urging us to contemplate the inner fires that continue to shape who we are. In these fleeting moments of motion and light, we rediscover the origins we carry within us, and the eternal rise born from both love and fear. A deep and heartfelt thank you for this extraordinary adventure in Morocco, born through another short film created with @jacobparramena . Special thanks to him for his essential contribution as movement director on EXODUS II. His guidance, sensitivity, and understanding of movement were fundamental in giving this piece its breath, tension, and soul.

Berlin. A weekend where movement became conversation. Invited by the @patriots and the @NFL to take part in a historic gathering 90,000 people in the stadium, a collective pulse echoing through the city. The energy moved beyond the field, into the streets, into the spaces where culture is shaped. This weekend, I showcased a series of exclusive prints for the @Patriots presented in collaboration with @distortedpeople , a brand deeply rooted in Berlin’s underground fabric. A meeting point between sport, movement, and the raw, lived-in aesthetics of the city. This weekend was a reminder that culture travels through bodies, gestures, and shared presence. It exists in the in-between: between performance and intimacy, between the personal and the collective. Nothing to prove. Just aligning with the moment, letting the movement speak, and honoring the communities that continue to build this language. Berlin, thank you. The conversation continues.

UNDONE - This series showcase the unraveling, the precise moment when structure gives way to impulse, when the individual dissolves into something larger than itself. Four chapters: confinement, eruption, flight, transcendence. Here, blur is truth. It’s proof of presence, of bodies refusing to be captured, to be still, to be contained. Each frame holds the ghost of a gesture, the afterimage of transformation. In the space between stillness and chaos, we discover who we are when nothing holds us back.
