Who in the Philly region is ready to celebrate! Delco Pride Week is back starting June 6 and finishing with our festival on June 13! We’re kicking things off with the Delco Pride Parade on June 6 in Media, then rolling straight into Pride on State. Downtown Media will be packed all day and night with 12+ events happening across different spots, drag, music, performances, and a ton of ways to just hang out and be in community. Then on June 13, we’re bringing it all to Upper Darby for the Delco Pride Festival right by 69th Street. • 130+ vendors • live performances and drag • food from all over the world • local orgs and resources • free and open to everyone Upper Darby is one of the most diverse communities in the region, and this festival really reflects that. It’s neighbors, small businesses, artists, and organizers all showing up and making something real together. If you’re in Philly, you’re literally minutes away from the festival. Take the El, grab your friends, and spend the day (or the whole week) with us. More info: /delcopride Delco Pride is organized and hosted by UDTJ and local community organizers. Get involved, volunteer, sponsor, and more! #DelcoPride #delcopa #philly #westphilly #phillylgbtq

DELCO'S PRIDE PARADE & PRIDE ON STATE ARE BACK!!! 🏳️‍🌈🎉🏳️‍🌈🎉🏳️‍🌈🎉 Saturday, June 6, 2026 2:00 P.M. – 9:00 PM+ Delco - Media, PA 19063 We got even more events this year with some fan favorites returning! Following the annual Delaware County Pride Parade, stick around in Media as we continue to celebrate into the evening! We have partnered with local businesses and organizations across downtown Media to host a variety of LGBTQIA+ events and activities! Many of these are still being developed as we speak so tune in as more details come out! Currently, Delco has no active LGBTQIA+ bars, nightclubs, or social venues. This deprives many LGBTQIA+ adults of safe spaces to meet and socialize with each other. However, with Pride on State, we are able to provide an annual space for LGBTQIA+ teens, families, and adults to celebrate and socialize in Delco. All official Pride on State events are free to the public (except Bingo which is a fundraiser). Thank you to our first ever presenting Rainbow Sponsor @acghealth for making Delco Pride a reality! The Delco Pride and all related Pride events are Smoke-Free! We ask all attendees refrain from smoking and vaping at any of the related U.D.T.J. Pride events. More events and updates will be coming soon! Join us in Media on June 6th, 2026 for the Pride Parade and Pride on State! There is also still time to sign-up your group in the parade, but hurry that form closes soon! Visit /delcopride for all the info! Also, dont forget, you can support events like Pride and more which are organized by UDTJ by donating to UDTJ or our Delco Pride Fundraiser for Delco Gives Day. Delco Pride remains free because of all the hard work of volunteers and generosity of community members pitching in, like yourself. You can donate at /delcopride. #DelcoPride #delcopa #Delawarecountypa #philly #lgbtqia

Today, May 17th, is the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia (IDAHOBIT), a day recognized around the world to stand against hate, violence, discrimination, and erasure targeting LGBTQIA+ people. The date marks the anniversary of May 17th, 1990, when the World Health Organization officially removed homosexuality from the International Classification of Diseases. Since then, this day has become a global call to action for equality, dignity, safety, and liberation for queer and trans people everywhere. As attacks on LGBTQIA+ rights continue across the country, it is important to remember that Pride began as protest the delivered that victory for queer liberation. Pride began as resistance. Pride began with people demanding the right to exist openly and freely in their own communities. That is why Delco Pride and UDTJ, on one of our busiest days, are finding time and inviting our community to gather together on Saturday, June 13th, 2026 before the Festival for a Rally the centers Queer Rights, Immigrant Rights, Voting Rights in the South, and the collective liberation of all oppressed people. From Stonewall to today, our movements have always been connected. We honor those we have lost, those still fighting, and those who continue organizing in the face of fear, hate, and political attacks. Join us: Delco Pride Rally Saturday, June 13th, 2026 12:15 PM – 12:45 PM 69th Street Bridge Steps 2 S 69th St, Upper Darby Township, PA 19082 Immediately following the rally, we will march together into the Delco Pride Festival beginning at 1PM. In a moment where many feel exhausted, isolated, or overwhelmed, community matters more than ever. We hope you will stand with us. One region. One coalition. One community. Pride is a protest. Pride is solidarity. Pride is Delco. More information: /delcopride #delcopa #philly #delcopride #phillypride #LGBTQIA

Find your people at Delco Pride. 🌈 This year, Delco Pride is launching the Delco Club Sign-Up Station, a space for LGBTQIA+ people across the region to connect around shared hobbies, interests, and community building. Whether you’re into gaming, hiking, gardening, drag, sports, books, art, running, music, activism, food, ballroom, or something completely different, we want to help people meet each other and build real community here in Delco. Clipboard sign-ups will be available throughout the festival for anyone interested in helping start or join a group. The goal is simple: more spaces for LGBTQIA+ people to connect outside of just nightlife or major events. All community groups formed through the project will also be able to use the UDTJ Community Center for free meeting space. You're welcome to coordinate with the other people in your groups and meet wherever. NO MORE EXCUSES! Come make some friends!!! No matter your age, background, or interests, there’s probably someone here looking for the same kind of community you are. Delco Pride Festival - 69th Street Saturday, June 13, 2026 1PM - 6PM 100 Garrett Rd, Upper Darby, PA Help us build Delco’s queer community. One club, one friendship, one connection at a time. #DelcoPride #UpperDarby #LGBTQIA #Delco #Pride2026

Today marks 41 years since the MOVE Bombing in West Philadelphia, when a city government dropped an actual bomb from a helicopter on its own residents, killing 11 people, including 5 children, and destroying an entire neighborhood making 250 people homeless. We remember the lives lost, the trauma inflicted, and the generations of distrust that followed. This is why having leaders rooted in the communities they serve matters. Because history has shown that government can and will cause harm when power is disconnected from humanity, accountability, and the people most impacted. We do not honor history by looking away from it. We honor it by learning from it and making sure it never happens again. #westphilly #philly #delcopa #Delawarecountypa #movebombing

Here’s the real reason we’re pushing so hard to raise this last $5,000. UDTJ does not currently have programming grants that cover the everyday costs of Delco Pride, youth events, safe spaces, outreach, direct services, and community programs. So when you donate, it is not just a nice gesture. It is what helps us actually do the work. It helps pay for supplies, food, hygiene items, printing, outreach materials, performers, event costs, youth activities, and all the little things behind the scenes that make these programs possible. That is why 30% funding is so serious. It means fewer events. Fewer safe spaces. Fewer youth programs. Fewer outreach days. Fewer chances to show up for people who need us. We are not trying to grow just to grow. We are trying to keep up with the need that is already here. Help us close this $5,000 gap so we can keep Delco Pride strong and keep UDTJ’s year-round programs going. Donate or share: www.linktr.ee/udtj And if you cannot donate, please show up tonight. Join us in Chester at the WSFS Sportsplex from 5 PM to 8 PM, decked out in rainbows, Pride gear, flags, and all the color you can bring. You can also stop by our table for a free Delco Pride shirt. Your presence could help UDTJ win an extra $2,500. Donate. Share. Show up. Delco deserves more than 30%. #delcogives #chesterpa #delcopa #philly #pride
