Families will be able to choose their favorite photos from the session, and each scholar will receive two edited photos of their choice included with the shoot.

I’m proud to be featured on the front page of today’s @dailybruin sharing my experience as a nontraditional student. I hope this can serve as encouragement for other nontraditional students who are beginning or continuing their educational journey.
I had to shout out @ucla_bps for all the amazing work that’s being done to support student-parents!!

Join us in partnership with @luskinlatinxcaucus and @lgsa_ucla this Tuesday, May 12th in SAC – Conference Room 4 for a community-centered Mutual Aid Giving event rooted in care, connection, and support. 💛
Items available will include:
🧸 Children’s books
🍼 Diapers, wipes & formula
🥫 Pantry items
🧴 Hygiene supplies
…and more!
We’ll also have a creative space to build your own “Mood Board” — a moment to reflect, manifest, create, and pour back into yourself in community with others.

A big thank you to all of our amazing and inspiring student-parents who participated in our focus group event and shared their stories with us! It was powerful to see our community come together, connect with one another, and build relationships that extend beyond the day of the event. We had undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students in the room, which shows just how amazing and resilient student-parents are.
