Day 35 was a day of lecture and day 36 was Rāhui day in Tahiti! We went to Teahupo’o and saw the waves then swam along the most beautiful reef! We also learned about what a Rāhui is and how it is a beneficial conservation method. After we got to go to a mangrove and jumped off the trees and used a rope swing into a freshwater river. We went to the Musée de Tahiti et des îles and saw the most amazing sunset on the way back. Definitely one of our favorite days so far!!
