The Crown Jewel of UC club events is upon us. Flat crawl is this Friday, the 27th. As the resident music enthusiasts on campus, Tunesoc has been tasked with providing the bands for the evening. Lucky for you, we happen to know some people.
MISSED EXIT (
@missedexit_ ) is one of UC’s premier bands. They’ve had epic performances over the years, including legendary local venues Wunderbar and The Darkroom, intimate flat gigs and even rocking the O-Week stage at First Base. Their heady style of Pop Rock hits get even the most stubborn of feet moving. They’re keen to keep the show on the road, even if the exit they were supposed to take is in the rear-view mirror.
RVÀ (
@rva_band ) is composed of musicians originating from all over the country, including the booming metropolis of Ashburton, the mysterious, far off lands of Tauranga and Palmerston North, and right here in Otautahi Christchurch. You’d never notice the disparate upbringings from their onstage chemistry, a trait that helped them win Dig the Gig 2025. The boys’ earthshaking riffs and double kicks will blow both your mind, and every car alarm on the block.
Don’t let RUST WIRE’s (
@rust_wire ) name fool you. They’re a pack of up and coming rockers who only got together in October of last year. Despite being newcomers to the 03’s music scene, they’ve shown out with their gnarly mix of grunge and rock in gigs all over town. These fresh faces are a well oiled machine who are felt, rather than heard.
Everybody who’s anybody will be there. Some people who aren’t anybody will be there. Basically, everyone will be there. It will be fun.
