The DotDotDot table is floor table also know as (Chabudai, Soban,
and Dulang) designed for a place of full immersion for ones tasks.
Being low to the ground allows a connectivness between the three
elements of person, object, and ground. The inner circle was created
to almost connect the person and table to elevate that feeling of
connectivness.
The feeling of connectivness when creating art was my main focus.
The importance of immersion in creation is fundamental so lining
up all the elements would allow for creating a space itself.
The form was also served a important task of elevating the DotDotDot table from furniture to art. Designing a wall-mount meant
it could be viewed in two planes: the floor and the wall. This would
allow it to have influence as a piece of furniture with interaction and
function, but also to be viewed and appreciated as art.

From an intrinsic desire to make, transferred into the vessel of a chair. The WC3 is a reflection of something physical, emotional, and mental that is released through the act of crafting. An essential part of the human experience, the use of the hands, head, and heart all at once allows for a full transfer of energy. Crafted as something that builds, connects, and embraces.
Simply a chair, but when sat, the connection to all of these essential parts of crafting can be felt. The energy dedicated can be felt.
