“My work often begins from an intuitive form — could be a rock, a corner of scrap, or a cut from an old project. Between metal and clay, I collect shapes that feel unearthed: fragile yet grounded, carrying traces of making.
.
Sometimes polished, sometimes rough, each piece reflects process and touch.”

I baked a lamp!
Having a few plant collections in my north-facing room, they all are problem babies that I am trying to take good care of. Thinking of a lamp that I want to put beside those plants and see as a corner buddy that accompanies me, I started to explore the yarn material to have a hint of softness and stretchiness in this unique table lamp.
It’s now a collective plant creature made with collected memories and scrapes harvested from elsewhere, a saved creature baby in the corner of my room, generating light and no need for water anymore.
