A perfect way to end off the year. It was such an honor to be welcomed into Union Rescue Mission to bring some holiday joy to the families experiencing homelessness. So often the people on skid row, especially the children, go unnoticed. This Christmas we wanted to remind them that they’re loved. Now, what started as a simple idea, has turned into a community tradition that will happen every Christmas for years to come ❤️

When I found out how many kids live on the streets of LA, I wanted to find a way to bring some holiday magic to them. In just one week, with the help of all my incredible friends, we transformed Union Rescue Mission homeless shelter into a winter wonderland. We gifted hundreds of stockings, provided free haircuts, brought a live jazz band, and even Santa showed up.
Words can’t explain how it felt to see the hundreds of kids light up with joy. Even more incredible was seeing countless people from all walks of life coming together to bring some light into these children’s lives. This wouldn’t have been possible without the love and hard work of the community. It was a real Christmas miracle 🌟

Tilly’s Life Center’s mission of inspiring youth to find their why aligns with the Passion Project’s mission to help kids from underserved communities uncover their greatness and follow their dreams. That’s why we came together to provide a space for them to participate in workshops, explore new interests, and just have fun.
