Delighted to have won Best Director of a microfilm for ‘Absolution’ for the imdb qualifying Best Hollywood Day Short Film Festival May 2026. With over 20 years working as a Principal Dancer with Birmingham Royal Ballet, music has always been the driving force behind Tyrone’s creative life. Rhythm, tone and texture shape the movement and language of dance and that same understanding now guides how he approaches DJing. For him, music is not about isolated tracks or moments but about how sound builds atmosphere and energy across an entire evening.
Drawing from an eclectic mix of underground house, organic grooves and worldly rhythms, TY SING builds long-form sets that develop gradually throughout the night. His selections are driven by feel and flow rather than obvious peaks, using rhythm and groove to keep people moving while slowly evolving the mood of a space.
Each set is shaped as a journey where subtle shifts in tempo, texture and intensity guide the energy forward naturally. The focus is always on creating an open and immersive environment where the music leads the movement and the atmosphere grows steadily over time.

After an incredible 21 years with the company, Tyrone’s final performance with us was on Wednesday evening as part of Black Sabbath - The Ballet.
Tyrone joined BRB in 2003 at the age of just 17 and was promoted to Principal in 2013, making him one of the Company’s longest-serving Principals. He danced and created many iconic roles during his time at BRB and his impact both on and off stage will be much missed.
