Never thought I’d be making a post like this, but I would like the world to your name. Elijah, I hope these portraits were able to capture your remarkable essence. Your presence was poetry and you spoke with so much intention and passion. You inspired me to be a better role model. Our family tells me how cool you thought I was; I hope you knew the feelings were mutual. I was supposed to see you walk across that stage into your next chapter.
You were going to be at my solo exhibitions.
I was supposed to be backstage at your shows. May you watch over us and may your energy surround our family. There’s a hole in my heart that’ll never be filled. I’ve never felt a pain like this. I don’t think there’s a single word that exists under the sun comparable to how much we’re going to miss you. I can’t wait to hear the songs you’ve made once I make it to you. I love you so so much cuzzo.
My brother forever.
Until we meet again.
