This project is super special to me, my debut in film and what opened doors to many opportunties after.
Shoutout to @_yassinnour_ and the whole team for letting me be involved in bringing a great story to life.
Shoutout to all the festivals who premiered the film and Cannes for awarding me Best Actor out of short films from 37 countries around the world. Couldn’t have asked for a better introduction into the industry and art of film. To many more! 🥂✨
‘Overdue’ out March 1st!!!
how much are you willing to sacrifice for the life you dream about? Life has been 20 hour days + 4 hours of sleep every day for the last 2 years leading to fall outs with family, broken relationships and distant friendships.
Every project I’ve booked has been from doing callback auditions in the back of this truck or illegally parking this at casting offices while on the clock at my job 12 hours a day…still doing auditions almost every night. When my rent leases were up lived out of my car, floors, friends couches, etc.
Did all that for freedom.
Now that I’m here, let’s see what this next chapter brings…
I don’t take anything for granted. I remember the day I found out I booked this role, I was in the middle of a shift at my construction job that I was dedicating 12 hours a day to everyday. I pray for opportunities like this and all aspiring actors would agree how much these opportunities mean the world when you’re trying to break in the tv/film industry.
Knowing this was my first role in a tv series and having 12 pages of dialogue, I knew I had to lock in! Everyday I had this script in cup holders studying while driving my work truck, learning Trini 😂, self taping every scene before coming on set, etc. In the end, the whole experience and seeing all the work everyone put in and what it turned into is beyonddd words!
@jaerichards & @treyrichards I know y’all are tired of how many times I’ve thanked y’all, probably won’t even make it this far in the caption LOL but thanks again for trusting me to help bring a part of your vision to life while helping me get closer to my dreams. Forever grateful 🤞🏽

finished watching this season and just been processing how grateful I am to be a part of something so special. Season one I felt imposter syndrome because of how great everyone is at what they do. Didn’t know I would be brought back but we here! Truly inspired and blessed 🙏🏽

sometimes it feels discouraging to show losses but I’ll forever stay true to my journey. Told myself I’d only post this if I got selected as one of the eight for the CFC Actor’s Conservatory this year. Unfortunately, I didn’t make it.
But this was the audition that got me shortlisted out of hundreds of actors across the country and I’m grateful for that alone. This was my first time applying and won’t be my last.
