Now, to prepare to grow and provide fresh fruits 🍉 and vegetables 🥕 for my Creatives on the south side! Today in Creative Placemaking adventures… The @thecurbmarket AKA Municipal Market has been an Atlanta staple since 1918 and I’m beyond excited to be currently working with them to build space for the Creatives downtown as part of my bigger initiative, to give Downtown, the Art and Creative presence it deserves. I need all my Atlanta Creatives to TAP IN! I’m putting together something MONUMENTAL here for everyone in the city during the World Cup and BEYOND! Can you guess what it is? Downtown deserves it. On today’s ‘Adventures in Creative Placemaking’… I went downtown and visited the Auburn Avenue Research Library @aarl_atl and met with Research Librarian, John Alston to discuss history and culture along the Atlanta streetcar route. I also got the chance to ride the streetcar for its entire 2.7 miles and stop by local businesses to see how Creative Placemaking can help make this area vibrant once again!
